Privacy
Exactly what we can see.
This page is the plain-English version. The full Privacy Policy is the legal one, and the two do not contradict each other.

Where it is stored, and who touches it
The application database and backend run on Supabase. Alerts are delivered by Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google, who never share your card details with us. Invitation emails are sent by Resend. The website is served by our site host.
Each sub-processor, its role, and the countries where data is stored are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Kirk is not secret software
The child app shows the child what is shared with their family: that they are linked, who the adults are, what happens when they press Need Help, and the exact wording that will be sent. There is no hidden mode. A child can see their own alert history and its delivery states.
Using Kirk as covert surveillance is not possible, and is not permitted by the Terms of Use.
Deleting your account
The main parent can delete the family account from inside the app, or by writing to support@projectkirk.app.
Deletion removes the parent account, every child profile, all Need Help alert events and their captured locations, alert delivery records, screen time summaries, app limit rules, push tokens and language preferences. Subscription records held by Apple or Google are governed by their policies; cancel in your store account.
