For iPhone and Android
Your child is one tap from every adult who loves them.
Kirk does less than the apps that read your child's messages. That is the trade, and we would rather say it out loud. One Need Help button, alerts that tell you the truth about whether anyone has seen them, and a short list of things Kirk will never do.
How it works
Three steps, then it gets out of the way.
Pair the phones
Add a child, share a 6-character pairing code, and they enter it in the Kirk app on their phone.
Invite the other adults
A co-parent as a guardian, a grandparent as an emergency contact. Each role sees only what it should.
Then Kirk stays quiet
A risk level, screen time where the platform supports it, and a button your child can press when they need you.
The Need Help button
"Sent" is not "Seen". Most apps blur that line. We won't.
When your child presses Need Help, they see the exact wording that will be sent before it goes. Their location is attached at that moment, and only then, shown on a map with a true-to-scale accuracy circle. Then Kirk reports honestly on what happened next.
Sending
The alert has left the child's phone and is on its way.
Retrying
The connection dropped. Kirk tries again automatically, up to four times.
Sent
The push notification was accepted for delivery. It does not mean anyone has seen it.
Seen
A person opened the alert. This is the only state that means a human knows.
If nobody opens the alert within four minutes, Kirk tells the child to call an adult they trust. A repeated tap during one emergency is recognised as the same alert, never duplicated. If the connection drops, Kirk retries automatically up to four times.
Devices
What you can see depends on your child's phone, not yours.
The parent app has every feature on both iPhone and Android. Apple and Google expose different capabilities to apps, so the child's platform decides what exists.

Honesty
The things Kirk will not do.
A child who knows they are being read stops talking. Kirk is built to keep the conversation open, so some capabilities are left out on purpose.
- Does not read messages or their contents
- Does not view photos or the camera roll
- Does not track location in the background
- Does not contact emergency services or 911
Pricing
Every safety feature is in both plans.
The only difference between the two plans is how many children are covered. Nothing that protects a child sits behind the higher tier.
